About Jeffrey Scott Radio

Dedicated.  Hardworking.  Compassionate.

These are just a few words that begin to describe Jeffrey Scott Radio.  Growing up in Clayton, New Jersey, Jeff became involved in his community before he even graduated high school.  Even after leaving and coming back to his hometown, Jeff never lost the drive to help make Clayton a better place to live.  In 2009, Jeff became the Mayor of Clayton and became an advocate for business development in the community.  He tirelessly worked to make sure the people of his town lived comfortably.  But his involvement in the community didn’t stop there.

Jeff was passionate about volunteering.  He was Clayton’s special events committee coordinator; joint liaison to Clayton Economic Development Committee and Clayton sports organizations, president of Cedar Green Cemetery Association; board member of Friends of Clayton Public Schools; board member of Safe Schools/ Healthy Students program for Clayton public schools; board member for Habitat for Humanity of Gloucester County; board member of the Maple Shade Business Association; member of the Maple Shade Board of Commerce; supporting member of Gloucester County and Burlington County Chamber of Commerce.

Jeffrey passed suddenly in 2015 but his spirit lives on.  In his name, the family started the Jeffrey Scott Radio Community of  Clayton Fund and is committed to continuing the work that Jeffrey set out to do in the community of Clayton, New Jersey.  Our vision is to help Clayton, NJ become a better community to live, thrive and flourish.  Jeff believed in making Clayton a better place and through the generosity of donations and public events, we believe we can too.
